Editor's Letter to the Homosexual
I am personally against "gay-bashing" and I have always gotten involved whenever I witnessed an unfair fight. I also believe "gays" should have equal legal rights. Nevertheless, I am so concerned about you, that I will do what the homosexual "think-a-priests" will not do -- I will tell you the truth.
No person is born a homosexual. God created mankind, male and female, and said it was good. God is not schizophrenic; He did not create something that He condemns in every form or fashion. Homosexual sex is a sin!
Leviticus 20:13, "If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall be put to death, their blood is upon them."
Romans 1:22-32, "Claiming to be wise, they became fools, and exchanged the glory of God for images resembling men and beasts. Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impure dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshipped the creature rather than the creator. For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. Their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural, and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in their own persons the due penalty for their error. And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a base mind and to improper conduct... Though they know God's decree that those who do such things deserve to die, they not only do them but encourage others to do them too."
I Corinthians 6:9-10, "Know ye not that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither the immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexual offenders, nor thieves, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor robbers will inherit the kingdom of God."
Jude 7, "Just as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire."
Revelation 21:8, "The cowardly and the unbelieving, the abominable, murderers, whoremongers, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone: which is the second death."
All the DENIAL or scripture twisting in the world will not change God's mind. Like all the rest of us who have been saved, you must change your mind. God's condition of salvation has always been twofold: Repent and believe the gospel. All of us have to give up our sinful lifestyles -- you are no exception.
Jesus told the adulterous woman two things, "I do not condemn you. Go and sin no more." (see John chapter 8) Why not follow the example of David, who was guilty of sexual immorality (read Psalms 51), and become a person after God's own heart.
